i never visited this place, though i was already up there, because you can get up there from an upper hill, but there are always so many tourists in line that i end up giving up! and it’s expensive too! i never understand what they’re thinking about when they establish those ridiculous prices! is it just for tourists?

but this is such a beautiful elevator! it is called santa justa elevator, which was designed by one of gustav eiffel’s students! you can actually see the resemblances, because of all the iron used and the way the iron is styled!

whenever i wander on this city and if it’s a sunny day like this day was, i always imagine what foreigners must think when they land! back in june i had the privilege of being hired by some finnish friends that were here on vacations. they were best friends and they wanted to celebrate their friendship with a photo session! they told me that as soon as they landed and on their first day wandering in lisbon, they knew this was their favourite city in the whole world, and they had been traveling through some countries all over the world. they were in love with its light, its people, its charming details and corners… i was so proud!
